I have been surrounded with music ever since I was a child. Thanks to my father I got closer to jazz music which I can benefit from even these days. I have been singing from the age of 8, first in choirs conducted by Valéria Botka and László Csányi (the choirs of the Hungarian Radio, the State Opera as well as the Budapest Children’s Choir), then from 1998 to 2001 I was singing in the jazz funk band the Tax Free followed by the formation called the Bonus Track. I am attracted to a wide range of musical genres; however my real home is in the world of the authentic R’n’B. I started working with Zoohacker in October 2007 which has been a great challenge and adventure for me to create something in a brand new musical world.

I started off with basics of classical music; I graduated in 2006 as a piano player, however I have been always interested in other musical genres as well: jazz, pop and primarily the combination of different genres and trends, and I also do compose music in a cross-over style. As a piano player I play in theatres and work with singers as a correpetitor. For years I have been playing the piano at various events, in bars, restaurants and ships. Working with Zoohacker has opened up a new exciting world I have not known before, and every time we come together something new happens.

I started my musical studies on the accordion at the age of 6, then carried on with the piano and got closer to the world of jazz from the age of 14, and as a result, I played the bar piano in the restaurant of the WestEnd Hilton for one and a half years. In the past few years electronic music and the arrangement of folk songs started attracting my attention and I take part in several musical productions in the genres of chill out, lounge and downtempo. Currently besides the Zoohacker Remake Orchestra I play in the electric-ethno formation called the Goya Project.

In the meantime I studied singing and percussions… My latest mania is playing on the AKAI EWI 4000 (an expressive newly designed musical instrument, an electronic wind controller). I have been playing here and there, with this and that, in Hungary and across the world, in several bands, on dozens of albums. My goal is to bring joy and put a smile on the face of people. And I am succeeding in that because I also feel good in the meantime…

DJ Zoohacker’s musical concept is devoted for the reinterpretation of this musical material by collecting these hits and embedding them in a DJ performance with the help of technology as well as professional musicians. Depending on the profile of the particular event the customers can point out their preferences on the instrumentation or the number of musicians.
